Ma Deva Priya
Priya is one of the rare fortunate ones who has been with Osho since birth. When she was born Osho blessed her with the name Priya and said to her parents “She is my child. I will take care of her.” He took a personal interest in her upbringing and education.
She spontaneously asked for sannyas at the age of seven in a Darshan in 1976 in Pune, where Osho gave her the name Ma Deva Priya.

He explained that it meant: Beloved of the Divine. She often visited the Ashram in her school holidays. Many energy Darshans continued with Osho at that young age grounding her strongly in meditation.
In 1982, Priya, a teenager then, went to Rajneeshpuram, USA. She was there for all the four years. She attended the Osho School in Antelope and worked in various departments at the ranch. She describes that period as the best time of her life. “I learnt so much in those years that no other regular school could ever teach me.”
Hers was the only exception ever made by Osho to live in the ashram as a resident and study outside. On Osho’s arrival back in Pune, he guided Priya to do a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Psychology while simultaneously living and working in the ashram. "Osho wanted me to be comfortable in both the worlds ‘together’, living out his vision of the new man."
Since 2007 she runs an Osho meditation center in the Himalayas. She actively takes care of the management and administration there. Having had the experience of being so close to The Master and living with him in all his international communes, she is a perfect blend of the East and the West. With such a solid foundation, Osho Nisarga is created as an oasis that hosts various in-depth programs and has become a successful model of Osho’s ‘wholistic’ vision of life.

About the Program
"A man of silence finds this whole world full of silence. Even the sounds only deepen the silence. And a man full of noise never becomes aware of the immense silence in the night. It all depends on you". OSHO
This retreat is an invitation for seekers on the path - an invitation to dive deep within - living in absolute silence for 21 days. The process is individual and intense; yet, the encouraging presence of fellow meditators and the nourishing environment keep one going. And the results are more than worth it!
Arrival is on 1st February. Preparations for the retreat would be made in the first two days; this would be the time to get acquainted with the beautiful, tranquil Nisarga. Tours would be conducted to get familiar with the walks around the place. Ma Deva Priya would be available for guidance, suggestions, and queries. The 21-day silence would conclude with a sharing session on the 25th of February. Lunch would be followed by departure. We recommend staying a day or two extra to make the transition into the outer world of sounds smoother.
Come to join this beautiful opportunity to explore the inner world.
"Truth is not something that comes from outside, it arises out of the intensity of your silence. In fact the intensity of your silence, a great silence crystallized, is the truth. Truth is not something other than silence. A small silence becomes the door to greater silences and finally, the silence itself becomes so condensed that you find yourself. In that very finding, you have found the truth. Then life is a sheer joy, a song, a dance, a celebration". OSHO
Osho says
You should start enjoying, just sitting silently for no reason at all, with no motive at all, just for the sheer joy of sitting silently, just breathing, being, listening to the birds, or watching your breath. Slowly, slowly a new fragrance starts arising in you, that fragrance is meditation.
