A Year Long Love Affair
I came to Osho Nisarga for Mystic Rose 2020. What was supposed to be a 3-week stay became a one-year love affair - I would have to thank the Covid19 lockdown for this amazing journey!
I had a great opportunity to experience commune living with my fellow travellers. We participated in four meditations a day, enjoyed wholesome delicious lovingly prepared organic food, worked together and partied together with much joy and celebration - Birthdays, farewells, bonfire nights... such beautiful memories of dancing, singing and laughing together.
To complete the entire Dhammapada series during the White Robe meditations truly felt like a beautiful gift from Existence, a gift I treasure deeply in my heart.
In between meditations, when the lockdown was lifted, I took the chance to explore the nearby villages and the beautiful pine forest. The year-round change of seasons gave me ample opportunities to photograph the amazing flora-fauna of this sacred Buddhafield. I am completely in awe of Nature’s treasures and of the lessons I learnt in this sacred space.
I loved all the group sessions that I participated in. It was the ‘Mystic Rose 2020’ group which gave me the courage to take the jump into the unknown, by deciding to stay. ‘The Way of the Heart’, was a beautiful heart opening session. ‘Live, Love and Laugh’, was where we both celebrated and meditated as we welcomed 2021. The most amazing ‘Silent Retreat 2021’, was the culmination of my whole year of commitment and dedication to my meditation practice. Finally, ‘Mystic Rose 2021’ allowed me to come full circle. Tears of gratitude and joy flowed for all the blessings that came my way. I could not have wished for a better place to be in a lockdown!
As I complete slightly over a year in this sacred Buddhafield, the love affair continues with deep gratitude and love for our beloved Osho, my Nisarga family and this beautiful paradise at the foothills of the Himalayas. It has been a tremendously enriching journey, an opportunity born out of an unusual situation. This one year has truly been THE most intense, beautiful, uplifting, ecstatic experience I had ever had. All thanks to the love, support, and encouragement of Ma Neelam, Priya and the staff, I leave with a heart overflowing with tremendous love, gratitude and joy.
