Feel it! Experience it! That's what we are doing here! What is meditation? -- getting into here... now. What is love? -- getting into here now. What is celebration? -- getting into here now”. OSHO
Osho has said that sleepiness is the only sin and awareness the only virtue. The former is hell, the latter heaven. Besides, life is short, more so for urban citizens who live life in the fast lane. There is very little time for anything and little motivation to ask the fundamental questions of life – who we really are? Why are we here? What is life? We go about the motions, we accumulate many things in our space and in our heads. Innumerable things flash past us unknowingly, multiple events happen simultaneously—earning a living, relating, travelling, shopping, partying, parenting, watching television…. Over a period of time, of course, it gets very confusing and disorienting. We end up as social machines, we empty ourselves into the world and forget our true nature.
What is our true nature?
To be at ease and peace with ourselves, to be centred and aware, to be joyful without conditions or reasons, to be connected with our inner light and to remain at the centre of the storm, even as the world goes spinning and birthing chaos.
To be in the Here and Now is a knack we have lost touch with, like some genius program concealed within us that has somehow been forgotten.
In this group we’ll be experimenting and playing with various meditation techniques ranging from breath work, deep relaxation, cathartic dance, conscious body movements to food meditation, conscious interaction between participants and self-inquiry methods. Contemplation techniques from the schools of Tantra, Sufism and Vajrayana Buddhism and Psychological tools such as the Enneagram will also be explored. We would also work with the fundamental inquiry – who we really are? The primary aim of the workshop is to empower the participants with the knack of moment to moment awareness and self-remembering in their daily lives.
