I first came to Nisarga in 2017, as a 19-year-old to participate in a photography meditation retreat. I was young and didn’t know what I wanted from life. But had a strong intuition that this was the place I was longing to be there. So, I applied for work meditation.
The first year I spent as a Shunya Mandir coordinator. The intense experience of doing so many programs and therapies moved a lot in me and it made me a meditator a seeker.
I was playing different roles in different programs. Sometimes a helper, a team coordinator, a DJ, a photographer, a guide for nature walks, cleaning and arranging for the next session and much more. From morning till evening playing different roles I have become flexible. I find myself at ease in responding to the present Now.
Working with different facilitators and therapists from all around the world, I learned how to communicate with different nationalities. Earlier I was not good in expressing myself. But here I learned the natural art of communication. Understanding the other person and saying what my heart feels... sometimes Yes and sometimes No, both with grace.
After a year I was moved to the reception which required much more precision and focus. This brought my meditation to a test. It needed more grounding, presence of mind, responsibility, and discipline.
There is not one but so many experiences that support the growth of my Being in all dimensions. Let it be the practicality of organizing an event, to the joy of letting go in dance or finding that stillness in meditation.
At Osho Nisarga I find community spirit, likeminded people who support me on my journey of self-discovery. The loving and accepting environment enables me to see myself with fresh eyes. It helps me to grow and tap into my potential. Being in this environment, work doesn't make me tired but instead gives me more energy and it becomes a meditation. This is the place where I have learned working playfully and yet with responsibility--a certain ability to respond.
Everything here is made with love, from the organic vegetables grown in our gardens, pure milk from our own cows and rich mineral water from the wells. Every minute detail of this place is contributing to creating a vision of abundance. This beautiful place in the lap of majestic Himalayan mountains, surrounded by fields and pine forests where the stream of spring water flows under the blue sky and the rocky terrains shine under the full moonlight is my life.
Osho Nisarga is home and people here are my family.
