Program Details
We are inherently playful beings, and the body is a starting point to let the play begin. Sprinkle in the colors of playfulness and we get in touch with our inner mystic clown who sees the world through the eyes of a joyful childlike innocence.
In this workshop, we will be training a lot with our body expression, so that it becomes stronger, more open, more flexible, more playful, giving you the tools to be able to say more with it. Each participant will leave with a new-found body awareness and discover in the process their own creative expression.
Character work is also intrinsic to the process, discovering your own individual expression and character which will naturally become the base foundation of your playful clown character.
Using the arts of mime, modern clowning, physical theatre, dramatic role-play, the Enneagram-types and improvisation techniques; we can explore this awareness as a key to know more about ourselves and our natural playful innocence.
WHY ATTEND THIS COURSE/WHAT WILL I LEARN:
• A new-found awareness of the body and its expression.
The body is a bridge to our conscious mind and expanding spirit (Body-Mind-Spirit).
• How playfulness can open up the body expression and create balance
• Discovery of some roles or characters within that we tend to shy away from or avoid
• Opening of our personal storybooks and finding new ways to tell those stories
• That the more we tune in, the more we can trust the body’s wisdom to guide us
“Existence is hilarious! If you just have eyes to see the hilarious points you will be surprised: in life there is no place to be serious. Everybody is slipping on banana peels - you just need an insight to see them. One just needs a little alertness to see and find out: Life is really a great cosmic laughter.” OSHO… Laughter is my Message
