Swami Siddhartha

Swami SiddharthaI have been a sannyasin since my early childhood.  It always surprises me when people talk of Osho as the past. For me, Osho is Here Now. His presence is stronger than ever before. His work is spreading gently all over the globe.  His Buddha fields are budding and growing more and more.

Now, after 25 years, I was gifted with the opportunity to visit India and go to Osho Nisarga in Dharamsala. I had no idea what I was going to see but was excited to see my old friends Priya and Neelam. The minute I entered Nisarga, I felt I am back home. This place felt like another part of the Buddha field. Osho’s presence is so much vibrant, I feel that I will see Osho any moment. The silence, the openness of space, the sound of the river that flows alongside the banks of Osho Nisarga, I can only say that I am so excited and in awe to feel His presence so clearly. I am reminded of my childhood and also Osho’s love for the Himalayas. His dream of being in the Himalayas has been fulfilled. He is here everywhere.

I strongly feel that it is time now for India and Osho’s Indian disciples to share this space with the rest of the world. That is what is happening. The sannyasin community in India is doing such inspiring work-- from his active meditations to his love of Sufi dance and Zen. Osho is such simple elegance, such extravagant bliss! I know now where to go when I need to. I know now that at the foothills of the Himalayas, Osho Nisarga is celebrating its existence in tune with Nature. And I know now that in India his authentic work is happening. I am so happy and proud to be a lover of Osho and that there is such a beautiful group of people letting his work flow through them.
