When I think of my ‘Work as Meditation’ experience in Nisarga, my heart fills with joy and my imagination is painted with beautiful memories of Shunya Mandir under the vast blue skies and white snow-capped Himalayas, lush green plants and the sound of flowing river. Working at the feet of the Master, surrounded by beautiful people with sparkling eyes full of bliss, love and depth. The very air of the centre is charged with life, love, and awareness. Retracing my steps back to March 2022 when I first came here, I was blown away by the beauty of the place and the delicious heart-warming food.

I was new to Osho but in my heart of hearts I knew he is my Guru and after years of seeking, I'm home! I was immensely happy when I got the opportunity to work inside the Meditation Hall: Shunya Mandir, as we call it, I fell in love with this name the very moment I heard it. It really felt like it was meant to be. I feel immensely grateful for having this opportunity to practise several OSHO meditation techniques on a regular basis and getting to listen to OSHO's voice ('Amrit Vani' as I like to call it in Hindi) every day for 15 months. By and By as time passed and I got the chance to deeply connect with regular meditators and facilitators who have lived with OSHO, I realised how precious Nisarga was, being one of the few places on the planet where OSHO's true taste and vision was preserved even 30 years later, I will be forever grateful to OSHO Nisarga team: Neelam, Tathagat, Priya, Sahajo, Prakash, Rahi and every soul who have been connected to Nisarga and contributed in their own ways!

In the beginning I remember being totally consumed by my work and taking it very seriously but by and by watching and living with this beautiful community and OSHO sannyasins I saw a steady transformation in the way I carried out all my responsibilities with a natural devotion, sincerity yet being playful and loving. I feel I could taste what was lifelike with OSHO, I could practically spot the common traits in the sannyasins who have lived and meditated with OSHO, it is one of the most precious things that I could experience.

Nisarga has such a beautiful and naturally blessed environment where it feels pleasant throughout the year. With such a dynamic, diverse, and ever-changing environment, it attracts people from every part and culture of the world. Mysteriously I felt an instant connection with at least some participants in each retreat that it even made my sceptic mind believe in past life connections. Meditating with them and relating with them consciously and lovingly was another gem of a learning that I'll owe to the centre.

It felt like coming Home for the first time in my life and helped me carry that home feeling inside of me gracefully as I left. Again, I will be forever grateful to the souls who put their beings to keep Osho Nisarga running. Thank you for this opportunity, it was a Life-transforming year.

Love,
Swami Sameer
